Ann Klein plays guitar, lap steel, mandolin, and other things with strings. As a singer/songwriter, she has performed in Europe consistently for many years and has composed music for documentaries and television shows worldwide. As an instrumentalist, credits include Kate Pierson of the B-52s, Bettye LaVette, Todd Almond, Ani DiFranco, and Laura Benanti. She has performed on Broadway in Almost Famous, Head Over Heels, Grease, 9 to 5, Baby, It’s You, Everyday Rapture, Kinky Boots, Waitress, Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812, The Outsiders, and Jagged Little Pill and is the musical director for There’s a Riot Going On. Ann is the Associate Producer for the “What Makes It Great” series which premiers its concerts at Lincoln Center and tours in similar venues around the country. His songs have received more than 1 billion streams. JT was born and raised in South Detroit. Countless hours of watching MTV inspired him to put together bands in school which eventually led him to Los Angeles to pursue his dream in the music business. His play The Connecticut List won the Outstanding  Writing for the Stage Award at NYU/Tisch and Fogart was selected as a finalist for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival in San Francisco. As a director, his credits include the Off-Broadway revival of The Runner Stumbles (Arclight Theatre); The Whaleship Essex (Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse); Holy Days (Retro Productions); and A Streetcar Named Desire (Bleecker Company). As an actor, he’s performed with Steppenwolf Theater, The Milwaukee Rep, The Goodman Theatre, and The Geffen Playhouse. He holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU/Tisch.
